Grain Trade Australia (GTA) has announced the launch of AGIC Week 2026, expanding the Australian Grain Industry Conference (AGIC) into a week-long program of industry events and international engagement.
With the AGIC Australia now in its 27th year, the inaugural AGIC Week will run from Monday 27 July to Friday 31 July 2026, bringing together Australian and international delegates for conference sessions, technical meetings, networking events, field trips and industry visits.
Supported by Austrade Accessing New Markets Initiative, the expanded format will include three AGIC International Delegate Days, with delegates from Asia participating in industry briefings and supply chain visits in addition to the AGIC conference.
AGIC Week will start with a special information symposium involving international delegates, Australian grain groups, Austrade and industry representatives, followed by an International Delegate Field Visit to Horsham and GTA and AOF technical and committee meetings, and the third Five Under 30 Young Professionals Networking Event on Day 2.
The AGIC conference on Wednesday, 29 July and Thursday, 30 July, at the Crown Promenade Melbourne will feature Australian and international speakers, panel discussions and a range of networking events, including the Women in Grains Networking Breakfast sponsored by HFW, a Biotechnology Information Breakfast, a B2B Networking Breakfast, the AGIC Welcome Reception supported by Port of Melbourne and the AGIC Gala Dinner sponsored by CBH Group.
AGIC Week will conclude with an international delegate visit to Geelong Port.
The expanded AGIC Week format provides an opportunity for Australian grain industry participants to connect directly with buyers from Asia and showcase Australia’s grain export capability, supply chain and industry expertise.
Further details on AGIC Week 2026 will be released in the coming weeks via the AGIC website, where tickets for AGIC Australia 2026 are now available.
