  paper Managing insolvency and GTA Trade Rules – in particular, Definitions and Rule 17 (Default)

• Particular note should be taken on the need to cover physical exposures as a result of financial settlement of
  contracts.
• GTA is not able to advise members on how they should handle their commercial dealings with an insolvent
  party.
• GTA strongly advises Members who have open contracts with the above-mentioned entities
  to seek their own independent legal advice.

3. Changes to Insolvency / Ipso Facto Law

Please refer to Member Update 12 of 18 which informs GTA Members of changes to the Ipso Facto law. This law
came into effect from 1 July 2018.
