TOPIC: Grain Trade Australia’s Five Under 30 Program - Fostering future grain industry leaders

Applications are now open for 2024-2025

Applications for GTA’s Five Under 30 leadership development program are now open.

Grain Trade Australia (GTA) CEO Pat O’Shannassy said “strengthening the depth of engagement with the younger people in the Australian grain industry is important for the industry’s future. We are committed to cultivating an environment that supports the development of future leaders”.

GTA’s Five Under 30 annual program was launched in 2023 to assist, guide and recognise future leaders in the industry, as well as boosting the involvement of the younger people of members in GTA activities.

Each year, GTA will carefully selects 5 individuals as the “Five Under 30” cohort and offer them additional opportunities, encourage involvement in GTA activities, offer mentorship and guidance over a 12 month period. The program is particularly focussed on creating mentoring opportunities that are inclusive and actively seek to mentor individuals from underrepresented backgrounds.

Applications are now open for 2024-2025

The application process for the Five Under 30 program 2024-2025 is now open to eligible participants from GTA Member organisations under the age of 30 at the time of application.

Selection process for Five Under 30 Program

Selection of the successful candidates will be based on merit, gender, background, experience and geographic diversity to ensure a degree of balance across the program.
