The 2024 Grain Trade Australia (GTA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Tuesday 29 October 2024 in Sydney at Shangri-La Hotel, 176 Cumberland street, The Rocks and via Zoom, commencing at 9:30am AEDT.

Please note that registrations will close on Monday, 28 October 2024 at 5pm AEDT.

2. Nominations & Voting

Nominations were sought for the following categories of GTA membership, to fill three Director positions. These vacancies are:

• Ordinary Level A – to fill one vacant Director position.
• Ordinary Level C – to fill one vacant Director position.
• Merchant Association– to fill one vacant Director position.

Nominations received for these positions were:

• Ordinary Level A – Brianna Peake, nominated by CBH Group
• Ordinary Level C – Michelle Kerr, nominated by Rural Logic
• Merchant Association
  • Scott Merson, nominated by Queensland Agricultural Merchants (QAM)
  • Sam Tainsh, nominated by Grain NSW

All financial members (as at 9am Monday 28 October 2024) are entitled to vote either by proxy or at the meeting. All members unable to attend the AGM are also eligible to vote for the appointment of GTA Directors by submitting their proxy forms.

A proxy form (and the power of attorney (if any) under which it is signed) must be received at the registered office of the Company via email (no later than 5pm on Monday, 28 October 2024). Proxy forms received after this time will not be considered. If you are voting at the AGM, please note that only 1 nominated representative from a Grain Trade Australia Ltd member is entitled to vote.
