Geoff is a Partner at Holding Redlich and is a leading Australian transport and commodities lawyer with over 25 years of experience, recognised in Chambers Asia-Pacific guide for his strategic advice in shipping. Geoff has been listed in The Best Lawyers in Australia guide since 2013 and as a leading lawyer in ‘Transportation Law,’ ‘Shipping & Maritime Law,’ and ‘Trade Law.’ Geoff is recognised by Doyle’s Guide since 2016 and Who’s Who Legal in 2022, as a global leader in the shipping space. Geoff advises clients across transport, agribusiness, and energy sectors on complex commercial disputes, regulatory matters, port logistics, trade finance, and competition law. In 2023, he was honoured by Mondaq’s Thought Leadership Awards for his article ‘Managing the agricultural supply chain: Contract negotiation and management’.
In 2024, Geoff was elected a President of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Australia). Geoff acts as Secretariat to GTA Arbitration Tribunals.
Geoff also served as a Director on GTA Board for over 20 years and was awarded GTA Life Membership in 2024.
Malcolm is currently the director of Finesse Solutions Pty Ltd, an agricultural Management Consulting business and experienced Company Director. He is a former director and CFO of the Jossco Group, PentAG Nidera, Grain Trade Australia and Plant Health Australia Ltd. Malcolm holds a Bachelor of Business Studies, an MBA, and is a member of CPA and FAICD.
Malcolm has over 25 years of experience managing finance and risk control in the grain industry and is a highly regarded and experienced consultant in the grain industry.
Malcolm also served 13 years as a Director on GTA Board.
Lloyd has over 30 years of experience in the grain industry, spending 17 of those years with Cargill Australia in a range of commercial and management roles. He is a well-recognised public commentator on grain markets and writes a weekly marketing article that is syndicated to rural papers nationally.
Lloyd has a Diploma of Farm Management from Orange Agricultural College and a Professional Certificate in Arbitration from the University of Adelaide. Lloyd manages his own grain marketing consultancy business Ag Scientia with clients throughout the grain industry.
Gerard is Principal at McMullen Consulting with over 30 years of experience. He brings extensive experience in the development of grain trading standards and the design and implementation of quality assurance, food safety, and research programs. He has played a key role in managing grain quality across Australian and international supply chains.
Gerard serves on several industry and government committees, including the GTA Standards Committee, and holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science. Through McMullen Consulting, Gerard provides expert consultancy in grain quality, food safety, and identity preservation systems.
Gerard is a well recognised grain quality expert and is a Chair of National Working Party for Grain Protection (NWPGP).
Richard has been working in the Australian grains industry for a range of Australian and international trading companies for over 20 years. Richard began his career with Agracom before moving to Melbourne with a European company managing the export trading of grains and oilseeds. He then helped set up the Australian trading arm of US-based Co-op CHS, where he finished as the Trading Manager, before moving to Market Check, where he oversaw the grower advisory team and growth strategy of the business.
Richard has a BA in Agricultural Systems, a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance, and a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
Richard is the Managing Director of Greenoaks Agriculture, a grain marketing consultant and broker working with a range of participants along the grain supply chain. Richard also is currently serving as a Director on GTA Board.
